Great accessory to enable fixed gear on the trainer - one of a kind.

This is an excellent tool for track cyclist or even road cyclist. With the addition of this on your Wahoo Kickr platform you can focus on specific gearing and even replicate your velodrome workouts. I highly recommend this for anyone. I do have to caution you. With Tariffs in place you will spend a pretty penny to obtain this item.

Very good adapter, does the job!

I just struggled more than I should while installing it. It was so tight (on a Kickr v6) that I had to use a mallet to get it seated in all the way.

Otherwise it's pretty neat.

Also, I made the mistake to follow the installation instructions from the Youtube vidéo - it doesn't mention the part where we need to reuse a spacer from the original free hub body found on the Kickr. The video predates the Kickr, so duh, but I still fell for it.

I really enjoy this way of riding my track bikes on the Wahoo. Just like replacing the rear wheel with the Kickr. Somehow I needed some additional spacers for the inner axle not to scratch into the dropouts. Absolutely in love, thanks velobike 💯

I would say buying such an adapter is not an expense but an investment. It’s the best tool for training smooth and consistent power since any change sitting on your saddle, moving your legs or even moving your upper body will be directly noticeable by a different power output.

Try to compensate the lower power output by upping your wattage and you’ll quickly find out that you overshoot your number or the other way around. This means that you’ll need to have a very smooth pedal stroke to stay consistent which is great for training!

One small issue which happened with my adapter is that the bearing was tilted by less than 1 degree and with the tolerance being so tight it wouldn’t fit in. I’ve tried all the splines but eventually had to wack it with a mallet to let it sit parallel.

The installation video was right on point and was able follow along and assemble in less than 20min. As for the ride a couple thoughts. I only do the exercises on Zwift so never change gears and my track bike is stronger than my SystemSix. The fixed gear ride feel is better than a road bike, and the switching power levels much smoother.

Recently acquired a Kickr Core with standard 11-speed cassette. Pedaled several hundred kilometers on my two road bikes, all the while looking at my two track/fixies hanging on the rack, them asking, “Can we do that too ?”. Velobike answers “Yes indeed, with elegance.” Prompt delivery, straightforward installation, wonderful results !

Simple to install, snug fit. Feels just like riding a fixed gear bike. I bought it so I can practice my sprints in a seated aero position at home, works great!

The kickr adapter has brought a new lease of life to my kickr and track bike! Fitting was super easy and works exactly as described and quality A+ as always. Finally found a use for my beloved track bike that’s sat on a wall for the last 2 years, thanks to the Velobike team.

If you ride a track bike, and you train indoors through the winter, this is an indispensable piece of equipment. It's very well machined to tight tolerances and works exactly as advertised. Installation is simple and only takes a minute.

Easy to install and is super smooth. I’ve been getting sprint training in the past few months when it’s either too wet or too smoky to ride at my local outdoor velodrome.

I've been using the Fixed-Gear Adapter for v6, and it has been fantastic. Works perfect with both fixed sprocket and freewheels, very easy to install, totally recommended.

This is the best piece of cycling kit I've bought in a long time! Love my track bike and love my trainer but not being able to use both was awful!

Amazed by how great the adapter works. Feels solid, installation was easy and no adverse affect on my power levels while on the trainer.

as for the Wahoo KickR fixed gear adapter, it is well build, fit perfect, came will everything I needed, and the installation instructions [online] were spot on. The entire install process took about 15 mins to complete. What a difference it makes to actually training on the bike I race on, and to dail-in my position on the bike...a perfect situation for gains. Thanks, and I can't wait for the next innovative product out of Velobike. Kudos to the entire team.

Initially left a 1-star review about the ball bearings being damaged after just a couple of rides. They sent me replacement ball bearings, which took some time to negotiate, but they are good sports. So far, the issue didn't appear again.

I first started training indoors on a fixed gear bicycle which I already owned and a "wheel on trainer." After shopping around for a used bike to use on a direct drive I found the Velobike adapter and decided to try it. DD trainers are way better in everyway and free of tires, tubes, and maintenance. Thanks for helping provide me a better indoor experience. I am ooking forward to trying some of the other innovative products Velobike offers.
